During the 2015 North West 200 motorcycle race in Northern Ireland, a three bike incident resulted in one bike colliding with a group of spectators.

A rider and a specator were both seriously injured.

Support in this incident came from the Event Director, who visited both in hospital, as well as visiting their families and providing whatever assistance was necessary.

Both are expected to eventually make a full recovery, and have both commented that they hope to be back at the event next year.
